I will obviously use these kits il my builds (quick reminder, even if I’m happy to share my work, I build for myself first), but they are not really essential.įamilies and Townies - Update for Growing Together! Also, while I appreciate the nod to the Sims 1, I would have liked a version of the mattress without the bedframe (at a more reasonable price, many pieces of furniture in this kit are too expensive by the way, given their condition), to make it easier to use.Īnd that’s all.

Vinyl turntable, as they added a record box). New planter boxes or more plants could have been included in the greenhouse kit, same with the other one, I would have liked even more damaged furniture (a bed, chairs, a table, or better, a functional I’ll be quite brief,I am still not convinced by the concept of the kits (considering the price of an EP or a GP, I think that more content could be included in them, rather than releasing kits on the side), but I must admit that most of them add objects and clutters that was missing from the game, and that I can’t see myself building without now.Īnd it’s the same for these last kits: I like them, still find it expensive considering the amount of items added. I’ll talk more about it soon I hope, I’ve already finished many lots, but I need to find the motivation to update the posts here!īut in the meantime, I also realize that I haven’t really talked about the last two kits released here, the Basement Treasures Kit, and the Greenhouse Haven Kit. It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but don’t worry, I’m still here, and working on builds! Right now, I’m mostly focusing on renovations of old lots, either because they’re a bit outdated and I don’t build the same way today, or because I’ve decided to move them to new locations in my save, so I need to adapt them to their new environment. Ultimately, while these kits include some interesting content, they are by no means indispensable. Also, almost none of the decor items are functional (most of them could have worked the same way as the bookends), and the textures of the frames are blurry (they look okay if scaled down twice). These are only minor issues… but still.

It includes some nice items, but I’m a bit disappointed by the limited color options for some of them (the sofa for exemple, only 7 swatches, and I don’t like the look of most of them). I’m a bit less enthusiastic about the Book Nook kit. It’s time for a review of the last two kits ! Quick reminder, I still think that considering the price of an EP or a GP, they could include more content, rather than releasing kits on the side.īut I was very pleasantly surprised by the Grunge Revival kit :Īlmost all of the items look good on both frames, the color options are interesting and fun (and some can be used for more basic looks) … I think I will use these clothes and accessories a lot! Thank you to the EA Creator Network for providing the kits!
